*UPDATE September 1, 2020 We currently do not have an estimated reopen date for our retail front in Landers, CA. Check back for more information to come.

Thank you for checking in.  We believed that we could safely open to the public by the end of June. Unfortunately, with the surge in COVID cases, we were wrong.  For the safety of our employees and customers we have decided to remain closed to the public. We are taking advantage of this continued temporary closure by updating our showroom. We look forward to showing you once we open our retail doors again as soon as it is safe to do so.

Our commercial operation is doing well, and we are offering a limited selection of Orchids and accessories on our Website. If you are unable to find the item you are looking for we can take orders via telephone at 760-364-2282 option 3 Monday through Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm.

We are still making plans to host the 25th Orchid Festival on October 3rd and 4th 2020.  Charitable organizations need our support more than ever this year. If it does not look to be possible by September 10th then we will make a post informing you that it will not be held.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

*UPDATE MAY 29, 2020 We plan to open toward the end of June.

At Gubler Orchids we believe that our orchids and services provide many people with beauty, joy, hope and many other emotions to a home during this time. This is why we have continued to provide our retail services and tours to the community for as long as we can at our Landers, CA location.

The safety and well-being of our team and community is our top priority. Given the Stay at Home Notices issued March 19, 2020, we have temporarily closed our public operations. This closure is in effect beginning March 20, 2020 until further notice.

We plan to continue offering our products and services as much as we can over the phone. For any retail shipping orders, plant care questions and other inquiries please call 760-364-2282 (Option 3) Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm PST.

Thank you for understanding and helping keep our communities safe.

25th Morongo Basin Orchid Festival Canceled.

The Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary Club sadly announces the cancellation of the 25th Annual Morongo Basin Orchid Festival. Rotary President Kristine Perrance said “it is heartbreaking not to be able to put on the festival this year when so many organizations need our help now, more than ever. We waited as long as we could to make the final determination.  We were hoping that restrictions would have eased by now to allow us to continue this tradition.”  The Orchid Festival has grown considerably over the last six years which would make social distancing impossible to enforce.  Our main concern is the safety of our volunteers and our festival goers.

The festival is such a fun event and our goal is to keep it that way.  We are working on keeping the 2020 festival alive in a smaller way as new ideas are being worked on to take place in the beginning of October. More information will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Gubler Orchids Inc. remains closed to the public.  Kelsey Gubler said, “Until all restrictions have be lifted Gubler Orchids Inc. will remain closed for tours.”  Gubler’s does have a limited online store and offers curbside pickup.  Our products are available for purchase at all Lowes, Ralphs, Food4Less and Vallarta Markets.  “Gubler Orchids is doing well, and we look forward to putting on an even larger festival in 2021.” Kelsey added.
