Learn about orchids, bring one home, and help worthwhile organizations in a hands on Repotting Class.

Classes are open to ages 16 yrs and up. 

​

These are hands on demonstrations.  Participants learn about the care and cultivation of these beauties while they actively transplant an orchid into a 6" pot.  Not only are classes filled with information, but the class fee includes the transplanted orchid for you to keep.

Phalaenopsis Class:

Crowned the most popular orchid in the world, you will be learning about the care and cultivation of Phalaenopsis orchids.  This $25 class fee includes your freshly repotted orchid to take home and enjoy. 

 

   

Orchid Arrangement Class :

Create and build your own orchid planter to take and enjoy at home.  Your $35 fee includes not only two blooming orchids and a houseplant, but also growing and care instructions for your new planter.

Intergeneric/ Exotic Orchid Class:

Learn the basics of growing intergeneric orchids, broadening your interest in some of the more unique orchids found in commercial markets.  The $30 class fee includes your repotted orchid.

All classes are held in the Learning Center.  Please arrive a few minutes before the class begins.  For credit card payments, pay online at time of registration (which will remain open until Friday Oct 6, 8 pm).  Cash or check will be accepted at the start of class.

Space is limited to 35 participants, so register today! If the class is full online, we recommend you check with the Learning Center, as there are sometimes no-shows.
