Each year we are reminded of how many organizations are in need, which makes choosing beneficiaries difficult.
You can support selected organizations who are in attendance by giving the charity of your choosing a "Rotary Buck" (cash works too). You earn "Rotary Bucks" through purchases such as wine, cheese, and orchids. You get your first rotary buck for just walking through the door.
This year’s Orchid Festival will showcase the following charities: Hearts of Yucca Valley, Panorama Ranch (Morongo Basin Mental Health), Unity Home, Hi-Desert Cultural Center, Hi-Desert Pregnancy Clinic, Morongo Basin Coalition for Adult Literacy, Morongo Basin Historical Society, Morongo Basin Citizens Emergency Response Team ( MB CERTS), Soroptimist, White Rock Horse Ranch Rescue, Morongo Basin Humane Society, Guide Dogs of the Desert, Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council, Tortoise Rescue, Marine Corps YMCA, and American Food Bank.
