The Orchid Festival initially was conceived as a fund raising event which would attract tourism to the Morongo Basin. It has since blossomed into one the most diversified fund raising efforts in the basin. Each year, various desert charities are selected by the Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary Club, who organize the event.  Proceeds are then dispersed accordingly. Over $46,000 has been raised to help a multitude of programs, ranging from local elementary schools and Wildlife Conservation organizations, to victims of domestic abuse and 9/11 to name a few.

We invite you to take part in this Hi-Desert tradition. Come visit, take a guided tour of our nursery, or just sit back and enjoy the live entertainment while sipping a cold beverage.
