The proceeds from this year's event, which generated over $12,500, will help support over 16 various charities.
A little wind added to the excitement this year, but didn't discourage the many visitors. The orchid classes were full and the nursery tour kept people in awe with all the beautiful orchids. The Wine and Cheese tasting was a favorite of many, while others enjoyed the delicious BBQ burgers and kabobs offered by the Rotary Club. Jim Palmer and the Jazz Norweigians played wonderfully as the do each year. We all got some laughs with the Pioneertown Posses performance, and the kids tired themselves out in the free bounce house.
Each year, the festival grows in entertainment and activities, 2009 will be no different.
